Four people have been detained following police exercises in Beetham and Sea Lots on Friday.
They include three men from Beetham Gardens and a Grenadian national.

Between 3 pm and 8 pm, officers led by Snr Sup Daniel under the supervision of Inspectors Powder and Insp Brown carried out searches at the Beetham Landfill and a junkyard in Sea Lots.
The four were arrested during stop and search exercises after it was discovered they had outstanding warrants. Officers also seized 78 grams of marijuana and eight grams of cocaine.
However, no one was arrested in connection with the narcotics
A soldier is among three men who have been reported missing at sea
Cpl Gerald James, 44, of George Clarke Circular, Carapo, Arima, was last seen around 5 am on Friday when he left on a fishing trip with Roger Perreira and Joseph Watson, both of Simon Street, Carapo. The trio left on a pirogue named Righteous headed for the New Cottage Fishing Centre, Carenage, and were expected to return around 6 pm on Friday. Police said James’s wife reported them missing after they failed to return home
James is dark brown and of African descent is six feet and one inch tall and weighs approximately 175 lbs. He has a greying military hair-cut, moustache, brown eyes and a scar on his right shoulder. He was last seen wearing a white jersey, red sneakers and long blue jeans
Perreira, who is of mixed descent. is light brown in complexion, slim built, with a low-cut hairstyle, a short black bread and bushy eyebrows.
Watson is of African descent, weighs approximately 275 lbs with black hair, close-cut beard and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing grey short pants with a blue stripe, black slippers and a multi-coloured jersey
Anyone with information on the men’s’ whereabouts is asked to contact the nearest police station
Western Division police are searching for a man who beat and robbed a man in as he was dropping off a friend in Glencoe around 12.55 am yesterday
Marlon Duhaney, 38 of Spring Bank Avenue, Cascade, had just dropped off his friend at Strathmore Avenue, La Horquette Valley Road, Glencoe, and was attempting to turn his car around he was reportedly blocked by another vehicle
Two men came out, pulled Duhaney was pulled out of his vehicle and beat him. They then searched Duhaney’s vehicle and took $1,400 in cash before driving off
Duhaney reported the matter to the police and Cpl Marcelle of the Four Roads Police Station is continuing enquiries
An Arima man who survived being shot five times early yesterday morning is warded in a stable condition at hospital
Anton “Buju” Joseph, 26, of Trainline Road, Pinto, was standing on a road close to his home at around 12 am yesterday when he was approached by a man who began shooting at him
As Joseph fell to the ground, the suspect fled on foot. As residents rushed to assist Joseph who was suffered multiple gunshot wounds
He was taken to the Arima Hospital where he was treated before being transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Science Complex, Mount Hope
