“Soy muy apasionada de lo que hago y me gusta mejorar día a día. Creo que eso es algo muy bueno, más en una liga como la inglesa, como la Premier, que es la más competitiva del mundo tanto en femenino como en masculino. Un partido entre el primero de la tabla con el último de la clasificación siempre va a ser difícil y muy luchado. En la Liga Inglesa el fútbol es muy físico. Por partido recorro unos 10 a 11 kilómetros y eso no ocurre en otras ligas”.

Gracias a su talento innato por el balompié es conocida cariñosamente como “Deyna La Reina”. A pesar de su juventud, la capitana de la selección femenina de fútbol ha sido la jugadora más joven en ser nominada al premio The Best FIFA&nbsp; 2017 y formó parte del equipo ideal de la Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol (Conmebol) en el 2020. También tiene dos Campeonatos Sudamericanos sub-17 y un récord de 14 goles que la convierten en la goleadora histórica de estos torneos.

La joven nacida en Maracay, estado Aragua, sostuvo que trabaja por dejar una huella en los clubes donde milita, de manera que cuando se hable de ella sea “por ser una gran profesional, una gran jugadora y principalmente una gran persona”.
